Staff Report
Brampton’s Rose Theatre is looking for senior community volunteers to be part of ‘Ride to the Rose’ coordination team.
‘Ride to the Rose’ is one of the interesting programs of its kind that reaches out to Brampton’s senior residents who are living in their own homes but would like to attend and enjoy the theatre with others.
The Rose Theatre, with the help of a recent grant from the Canadian government, is now expanding the existing program to three new neighbourhoods in Brampton (areas still to be determined).
The program offers a free bus and a well-priced ticket along with a group leader to enhance their experience.
For the program, the theatre require one volunteer for each new area to play coordinating role and being the group leader of seniors in their designated neighbourhood.
