Peel Police have seized a gun and drugs after executing a search warrant in Brampton on Thursday.
Investigators with the Peel Regional Police Street Crime Gang Unit located a .22 calibre AMT semi-automatic firearm as well as 15 ounces of cocaine, drug paraphernalia, and Canadian currency linked as proceeds of crime.
Yesterday officers executed a search warrant in relation to an ongoing investigation, and have charged Delroy Henry, 29, of Brampton, with the following firearm and drug related charges:
• Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
• Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
• Careless Use or Storage of a Firearm
• Possession of a Weapon for Dangerous Purpose
• Unauthorized Possession of a Prohibited or Restricted Weapon
• Possession of a Weapon Obtained by Crime
• Possession of Property Obtained by Crime
• Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking
• Possession of a Controlled Substance
• Fail to Comply with Conditions of Recognizance
Henry’s common law spouse, Tenika Bryce, 25, of Brampton, has also been charged with the following firearm and drug related charges:
• Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
• Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
• Unauthorized Possession of a Prohibited or Restricted Weapon
• Careless Use or Storage of a Firearm
• Possession of a Weapon for Dangerous Purpose
• Possession of a Weapon Obtained by Crime
• Possession of Property Obtained by Crime
• Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking
Both Henry and Bryce have been held for a special bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton.
