UPDATED: Environment Canada issues freezing rain warning for Peel, Mississauga issues flood warnings

PEEL – As the anticipated snowfall coats areas within the Region of Peel, Environment Canada issued a freezing rain warning for the area. The city of Mississauga is also advising resident to keep children away from waterways and caution around rivers, creeks and streams as water levels are expected to rise with 15-25 millimetres of rain expected and as snow and ice melt with rising temperatures overnight.
