The chief medical officer is recommending families decorate their homes as an alternative to trick-or-treating in Ontario COVID hotspots.

The pandemic has made it too scary for door-to-door trick or treating in Toronto, Peel, York and Ottawa, says Ontario’s chief medical officer.
