When the shower curtain rises: How St. Michael’s Choir School keeps kids singing — and safe — amid COVID-19

A Grade 8 class at St. Michael’s Choir School is put through its paces by senior conductor Bryan Pritty. The school has found an innovative way to provide added protection against COVID-19, with specially constructed pods made from piping and shower curtains.

Forty boys walked into two rehearsal spaces at St. Michael’s Choir School expecting to sing. Instead, they found piles of PVC pipes, fittings and transparent shower curtains spread out on the floor.
