‘It’s getting worse by the day’: Amid pandemic, opioid deaths on the rise in Peel

Jenna Dewsbury at Regeneration Outreach in Brampton says that it's more difficult for the homeless community to access addiction help during the pandemic, partly due to a massive shift to online services.

According to Peel Public Health there have been 119 probable opioid-related deaths in Peel from March to November 2020.
